About

I grew up in Gavoi, Sardinia, where I spent my childhood and adolescence watching how things, like a landscape, a sound, a gesture, find their form. That's where my interest in design comes from: not so much making things look good, as understanding how to build a visual language that actually works.

I moved to Rome for my studies, where I earned my Bachelor's in Design from Sapienza University in 2022 and, in 2025, my Master's in Visual and Multimedia Communication Design, a path that crossed branding, exhibit design, publishing, motion and UX/UI, and closed with Songviz, the research on music visualization that opens this portfolio.

Along the way I got to work in very different creative contexts: graphic design for exhibitions and catalogues with TWM Factory in Rome, digital content and motion for the UNDP Regional Bureau for Africa, up to a post-graduate path in UX/UI that broadened how I think about projects, not just as images, but as systems someone actually has to use. Alongside that, I kept working independently on branding, packaging, video and photography. That's where projects like Berriscone came from.

Today I work in prepress and print production for a print shop, an experience that's taught me to really understand materials and the technical limits of printing, things you rarely learn from books. Alongside that, I keep cultivating an interest that grows with every project: the moment a piece of work stops being a single deliverable and becomes a system. That's what I tried to do with DUSE and Frozen Echoes, and it's the direction I want to keep moving in.

Outside of work, film takes up an important part of my time: since 2023 I've co-hosted VOICEOVER: Il Cinema Ascoltato ("Cinema, Listened To"), a podcast started with two friends who share my passion for film. It's no coincidence that my interest in the relationship between image, sound and movement keeps coming back in my work. It's the same eye I watch a film with, applied to design.
